Singapore – Part 1
It was so hard to believe we were finally on the way.
I’m so glad we got the iPads on Jetstar – the first 40 minutes while the kids were waiting for them were hard enough!
We had a few days in Singapore because of poor flight connections, but it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. It was so valuable to have a little bit of down time to regroup in between the hectic days preceding our departure and the unsettled nature of life in the days following our arrival. It was also a wonderful opportunity to connect with a beautiful couple we got to know in New Zealand.
The street scenes are mostly from around Geylang where we stayed with an organisation that volunteers within the local community. It was very hot (no air conditioning until after 9pm), very colourful and a very different experience from what we are used to in Australia. Something that will long be talked about I think 🙂
